The ACE OPC Active X controls are a library of Active X components which allow users to create very powerful MMI (Man Machine Interface) applications with virtually no code. The controls can communicate to industrial devices such as PLC's Robots, Motion Controllers etc. using off the shelf OPC (OLE for Process Control) servers. Although they often require no code to use, they expose all of their properties and methods which allows developers to develop complex applications without having their "hands tied" by using a completely canned product.

These controls allow the developer to read data, write data, perform command functions and display data in several graphical states. ACE Technologies developed these controls utilizing their years of experience in the development of PC based industrial applications. For most projects, the user simply drags and drops the controls on their forms, sets a few properties, and the project is done!
